    Greg Started his career in auto sales in 1991 at the age of 19.  He was a natural and began his ascent to the top of his profession.  He was quickly promoted to Finance Director by the age of 21 and has held almost every managerial position the buisness has to offer and succeeded at ALL of them.  After spending almost 20 years with the same dealer family, he has brought his talents and motivation to the Melton family.

    He enjoys spending time with his daughter and watching NFL, NBA and all action sports.  He enjoys cooking and is getting back into golf.

    Editors note:  Greg is known for his humor and sarcasm of which both are clearly on display… daily.

    One of my proudest contributions to our company has been the introduction of Internet-based sales and marketing long before it was commonplace. In 1997, the Internet was in its infancy and certainly not a sure thing, but I could see the possibilities. I made a network of friends around the country who were working on a mainframe server that could house all dealers' inventories online at one location. That company was Automallusa.com. Keep in mind, this was long before industry-wide powerhouses like Cars.com, and AutoTrader was still just a magazine at the local gas station!

    Building from the knowledge I gained working with Automallusa, I created a dealership-specific web server for our company inventory management and display. It was among one of the first dealership websites in the country. We published inventory, details, and pricing for customers in a way that was transparent and hassle free.

    A particularly proud moment for me was in 2002, when the California Auto Dealers Association showcased our dealership as an example of the power of the Internet. This was to show dealers in the heart of Silicon Valley, who had no idea of how to use the technology, how a small dealership in Oklahoma was running circles around them! From that time, we have been able to keep up with changing technologies and continue to provide comparative information to customers in a way that is easy to understand and offers a win/win for the customer and our company. This innovative approach has allowed us to be a part of, and in some ways shape, the paradigm shift in automotive retail sales.
